We used to have an incline but that is now long gone. I would like to see more pedestrian and bike friendly access to Mount Adams and suggest we re-look at an elevated gondola that would soar above I-71 offering breathtaking views of the Cincinnati Riverfront attractions, Newport on the Levee and Over the Rhine. The landing could be the historic Monastery at the top of Mount Adams that has long sought for a purpose to keep it alive. This could also provide pedestrian and bike access to the Art Galery and Eden Park. To keep operating costs low, it could be operated at only peak hours such as evenings, weekends and holidays and provide visitors to Cincinnati one more attraction to enjoy and explore our City. Unlike a helicopter ride, this could be an environmentally friendly way to explore the urban Cincinnati skyway.
