Balluminaria is one of the largest hot-air balloon festivals in the country and it takes place right here in our backyard of Mirror Lake.
Nearly a dozen full-size hot-air balloons are secured around Mirror Lake in Eden Park. As dusk falls, the flames that heat the air in the balloons cause them to glow bright – having a beautiful effect that is reflected in the water.
Along with the spectacular views of the balloons, there are activities for everyone in the park including holiday music, hot chocolate and a visit from Santa.
